Qualified to MSc level in Analytical Chemistry, had previously worked in the semiconductor industry for 10 years.

Sally is an Assistant Head, KS2 Reading Lead and Year 6 classroom teacher at Randal Cremer Primary School, where she has worked for the last 5 years. Under her guidance, KS2 outcomes have improved dramatically, most significantly Expected Standard from 36% to 70%. She is well versed in KS2 curriculum, Destination Reader and KS2 Writing Moderation. In addition to her teaching and learning expertise, Sally has undertaken The Ambition School Leadership Teaching Leaders 2 year program, establishing connections to diverse Middle Leaders across the UK. Streamlining processes for teachers and leaders is important to Sally, as is ensuring sustainable teacher workload and work-life balance.
Sally’s fourteen year teaching career has been incredibly varied, from tiny secondary schools in rural Australia, private schools, several London boroughs and now Hackney, which has given her both the greatest challenges and rewards of her professional career.
